EastEnders' Elaine Peacock confronts George Knight over secret kiss

Elaine Peacock has confronted George Knight over his secret kiss with former wife Cindy in EastEnders.
Last week, Elaine discovered that George had shared a secret kiss with Cindy after overhearing her trying to discourage the Vic barman from continuing his underground boxing.
Elaine has spent the last week weighing up what to do, with Anna and Gina offering her support in Thursday's (May 16) episode.
In the Square, Junior was threatening George that he'd reveal everything about his father's latest cozy encounter with Cindy. Junior had a secret of his own, as he'd hooked up with Bianca Jackson despite having a wife and son.

Junior stopped short of revealing the truth about George and Cindy in the Vic, after seeing how worried Anna and Gina were for their dad following his recent health diagnosis.
Elaine even led a toast to the family, though an uncomfortable Junior made an excuse to leave. Gina tried to stop her brother, asking why he was "running out" on them again.
Junior glanced at Cindy, then told Gina: "It ain't you."
Elaine clocked the stunned look on Cindy's face, so later summoned George so they could have it out. George apologised for worrying Elaine with his health, yet he clammed up when she asked him to open up about what he's feeling.

As he turned to leave, Elaine blurted out: "You kissed her!"
George tried to brush everything under the carpet, but after he admitted Junior was right about him talking with Cindy in hushed tones, Elaine finally had enough.
"You run to [Cindy] every time before me," Elaine pointed out. "Poor, stupid Elaine, deluding herself that you love me."
George insisted that he did love Elaine, before suggesting his kiss with Cindy hadn't meant anything to him.
"It will never, ever happen again," George vowed, with Elaine replying: "No, it won't."
Elaine then ordered George to leave the pub and find "some other warm bed" to sleep in. Is it over for Elaine and George?
