EastEnders’ Elaine Peacock and Cindy Beale are set to face off over George Knight’s betrayal.

Last week, Elaine found out that her partner George kissed his former wife Cindy after overhearing a secret conversation between the pair.

However, she chose to keep this information to herself, instead focusing on the devastating news that George had a brain condition which is linked to his dangerous fights.

But in Thursday’s episode (May 16), after weighing up what to do, Elaine blurted out what she knew to George, and he admitted to the betrayal.

While George stressed that the kiss with Cindy meant nothing and wouldn’t happen again, it was too little, too late for Elaine, who ordered him to leave the pub.

In scenes that will air on Monday (May 20), the fallout from the kiss continues, as George wakes up on the sofa at No.55 after Elaine kicked him out of The Vic.

Meanwhile, Gina and Anna attempt to fix things in the family by visiting Cindy and warning their mum to stay away from George.

George soon has more to deal with, when Junior returns to Walford, and George discovers that his son has a secret familywife Monique and son Xavier.

The Knights enjoy bonding with Junior’s family, but Junior soon makes his excuses to leave when there is still obvious tension between him and George.

Elaine tells Junior and his family that they can move into The Vic, and after Gina comes around to the idea, he agrees.

Later in the week, Elaine overhears Linda, Gina and Anna gossiping about her current situation with George, and she tells them to butt out.

She decides to pay her own visit to No.45, and inside, she tells Cindy that George is hers if she wants him.
