East Nashville liquor store owner offering $500 reward for info on theft

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The owner of an East Nashville liquor store is offering a reward for information after several bottles of tequila were reportedly stolen from the business earlier this month.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the alleged thief showed up to Last Chance Liquors on Dickerson Pike on May 6. Authorities said he stole three “expensive bottles of tequila” from the store before leaving on foot.

East Nashville liquor store repeatedly hit by thieves

The same liquor store, which has been around since the 1940s, was repeatedly hit by thieves last year. According to employees, a group of people made off with multiple tequila bottles and a couple bottles of Hennessy on two separate occasions.

The store’s owner is offering a $500 reward through Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the May 6 incident. In a photo provided by police, the suspect can be seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and a red hat.
