NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top gold companies are down at 10 a.m.:

Barrick Gold Corp. fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $34.50.

Gold Fields fell $.32 or 2.6 percent, to $11.96.

GoldCorp. fell $.47 or 1.2 percent, to $38.23.

Newmont Mining Corp. fell $.56 or 1.2 percent, to $46.53.
