Early Fantasy Football pickups for Week 15: Get a step closer to title town

Make the right addition to your team in Week 15 and you’ll be one step closer to playing for a Fantasy Football title. We have three players to consider on the waiver wire.

Theo Riddick, RB, Detroit Lions – 41 percent owned

With Ameer Abdullah missing back-to-back games (including being a healthy scratch in Week 14), Riddick has come up big for the Lions. Finding the end zone three times over the last two weeks, the Notre Dame product has led Detroit’s backfield, managing double-digit touches in Weeks 13 and 14. With Tion Green disappointing and Abdullah in the dog house, Riddick should continue to see an expanded role.

Corey Coleman, WR, Cleveland Browns – 28 percent

Forgotten in the shadows of Josh Gordon’s impressive return, Coleman was an afterthought heading into Week 14. In a soft matchup against the Packers, however, Coleman saw more action, tying Gordon with six looks on the day. Reeling in five balls for 62 yards and a touchdown, the second-year player continued to show promise. He’ll face a banged up Ravens secondary in Week 15.

Tarik Cohen, RB, Chicago Bears – 44 percent

Assuming rational coaching decisions from John Fox is never recommended, but Cohen has bee more involved as of late. True to his “human joystick” nickname, the rookie was efficient on the ground, averaging 6.7 YPC on Sunday with 80 yards on 12 carries. He also converted both of his targets for another 5 yards. Cohen has a plus matchup at Detroit in Week 15.
