‘DWTS’ Votes Off Contestant Who’s Used to Being Voted For

On Tuesday’s results episode of Dancing With the Stars, the final two contestants in jeopardy of elimination were Amber Rose and Rick Perry. Although Rick Perry was the longest-serving Texas governor in history, he couldn’t gather enough votes to stay on the show.

However, Perry seemed to see that coming when he found himself at the bottom of the leader board in the previous week. The former Air Force pilot struggled with dancing. In rehearsal, he said, “Dancing is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, other than learning to fly.”

Though he was voted off, Perry appreciates having learned a new skill. He told Tom Bergeron, “My daughter is getting married the 15th of October. I can promise you, I’ll look good on the dance floor for her.”

Dancing With the Stars airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on Fox. Watch clips and full episodes of Dancing With the Stars for free on Yahoo View.
