'DWTS' judges upset over double elimination: 'There's no justice here'

The Bachelorettes “Grocery Store” Joe Amabile and Fuller Houses Juan Pablo Di Pace were eliminated during the Dancing With the Stars semifinals. Considering Joe had the lowest judges’ score for the season, his exit was expected. But Juan Pablo’s elimination was a total shock.

Juan Pablo and his partner, Cheryl Burke, were the highest-scoring couple throughout the season. And even more impressive was that their last four dances all received perfect scores from the judges.

After the couple performed a flawless salsa, head judge Len Goodman said, “If you’re not in the final, I’m going to go home and pickle me walnuts.”

Len, along with judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, was completely shocked by the elimination. As the credits rolled, a frustrated Len said, “I know the Americans, we like fair play but mostly we like justice. And there’s no justice here.”

Twitterverse was just as shocked as the judges. One viewer tweeted, “The elimination of Juan Pablo and Cheryl is one of the worst things to ever happen in #DWTS history.” In fact, Twitter was so outraged, that Juan Pablo sent a late night tweet to calm them down.

But even though the elimination was heartbreaking for viewers, for Juan Pablo the experience was as magnificent as his dancing. When asked about his unexpected departure, Juan Pablo said, “I love dancing so much, and at least I got to do it in front of millions of people with this beautiful girl.”
