How DWTS Champ Jordan Fisher's Girlfriend Ellie Woods Supported Him from 2,000 Miles Away

Jordan Fisher is your Dancing with the Stars season 25 winner — and in addition to thousands of fans, he had a special someone cheering him on throughout the competition.

On Tuesday night, Fisher, Lindsey Stirling and Frankie Muniz went head-to-head on the season finale — but Fisher emerged victorious and took home the coveted Mirrorball trophy after earning overall perfect scores for his final two dances with pro partner Lindsay Arnold. Stirling was the runner-up, and Muniz was the second runner-up.

After his big win, the Grease: Live star and Arnold opened up to reporters about how their significant others supported them throughout the journey.

“I was not as lucky to have mine with me all the time,” said Fisher, 23, who is dating his longtime friend Ellie Woods. (The two grew up together in Birmingham, and she’s currently studying at the University of Alabama.)

“She’s freaking out right now about 2,000 miles away,” he continued. “She’s buried in books at the moment, but it’s the same thing — being able to have somebody that you love and that loves you and can accept all of the things you have to give them after a long, hard day of rehearsal, it’s unbelievable.”

Sun-kissed ??????????

And Woods was quick to congratulate her beau on social media, sharing a black-and-white photo of the two kissing on a beach.

“AND YOUR DANCING WITH THE STARS SEASON 25 WINNER IS JORDAN FISHER,” she gushed in the caption.

Fisher himself was at a loss for words when describing his big win.

“There aren’t words you can use to express — there’s something about putting in 12 weeks of work and time and energy and blood and sweat and tears into something and being rewarded like this at the end of the day,” he said. “The Mirrorball is so amazing. This is so freaking cool. But the coolest part is having what we got to establish — a bond and trust and love for each other that exceeds so much in life. That’s a thing that I’m taking away from this for sure.”

And #TeamFisher, we’ve got good news for you: His DWTS journey isn’t over yet! The star will head out on the Dancing with the Stars Live! tour, which kicks off Dec. 30. Tickets are available online at www.dwtstour.com.
