King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands talked with Ukrainian servicemen undergoing training during his visit to Operation Interflex in the United Kingdom, the Dutch Royal House reported on X on March 20.

Willem-Alexander visited a training operation in England and engaged with instructors and Ukrainian soldiers.

"The Netherlands are contributing, for example, to shooting training, medical assistance, and law of war," the statement said.

The training ground is located in northern England. The Netherlands has been participating in this training program since September 2022.

Operation Interflex is an international partnership involving several countries. Besides the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, training is provided by Norway, Canada, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden.

The UK leads in the training of Ukrainian servicemen.

The United Kingdom has completed training 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers, seven weeks ahead of schedule, UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said on Nov. 10.
