Durant on Colangelo burner accounts: 'It ain't got s--- to do with me'


If you’ve been anywhere near the internet in the past 24 hours, you’ll know that Philadelphia 76ers president Bryan Colangelo is being investigated for allegedly creating multiple secret ‘burner’ Twitter accounts to criticize players, NBA coaches, team executives, and disclose team information.

If you’ve been anywhere near the internet in the past year, you’ll know that Warriors star Kevin Durant confessed to doing a similar thing in September 2017 – granted, Durant mainly used his burner accounts to defend his own reputation and argue with other Twitter users.

So naturally, ESPN reached out to Durant for his take on Colangelo’s situation, to which he gave the most KD response possible:

“I ain’t got nothing to say about that,” he said. “It ain’t got s— to do with me.”

Moral of the story: unless you want to cement yourself as a subject of Twitter lore (which you might), do not use burner accounts.
