Dune: Part Two confirms streaming release date – and it's very soon

Dune: Part Two will be available to stream at home this month.
HBO's streaming service Max have announced that the second Dune film will be arriving on the platform on May 21, available to existing and new Max subscribers in the US.
"The visions are clear now. Dune: Part Two begins streaming May 21 exclusively on Max. #DuneMovie #MaxGetsMovies," reads the caption on the Instagram post, shared alongside a video of a sandworm thumper.

The Dune sequel has proven to be one of the most talked about films of 2024, with the movie receiving rave critic reviews and enjoying huge success at the box office ($700 million and counting).
Dune 2 sees Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) attmept to take down House Harkonnen with the help of Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen people, to avenge his father's death and fall of his house.
The sequel saw some notable cast additions including Oppenheimer's Florence Pugh and Elvis star Austin Butler, who was applauded for his portrayal of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the evil nephew to Stellan Skarsgård's Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.

Dune: Part Two's upcoming streaming release is only applicable to audiences in the US, but the film is currently available to rent or buy at home for UK viewers for a fee.
You can find the movie online via Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and other digital retailers.
There's been no word of a UK streaming release date as yet, but it's likely that Dune 2 will debut on Sky Cinema at a later date.
Following the success of the Dune sequel, a third movie was announced in April by production company Legendary with Denis Villeneuve returning to direct another outing of the sci-fi adventure.
Dune: Part Two will be available to stream on Max from May 22.
