Duchess Kate flaunts blossoming baby bump in Seraphine floral frock
Duchess Kate brought out an oldie but a goodie for her first public engagement of 2018.
The royal, who just celebrated her 36th birthday on Tuesday, visited Reach Academy Feltham, a London school that works with philanthropic organization Place2Be to help ensure the wellbeing of pupils, teachers and parents. For the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge wore an outfit she previously wore while pregnant with Princess Charlotte -- a blue-and-green Seraphine floral dress and a matching wool coat by Hobbs. She polished off the look with suede pumps and a clutch in coordinating hues.
Seraphine, a London-based brand, has been one of her go-to choices throughout her various pregnancies. During a public appearance over the holidays, Kate rocked a plum-hued Seraphine coat dress that she sported during a visit to New York City in 2014 while pregnant with Charlotte.
On Wednesday, the Duchess was welcomed by enthusiastic students who greeted her by singing the Nina Simone classic, "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free."
"I wish every morning could start off like that," the royal said after the performance.
Later on, she bonded with the young children during an art lesson and even made friends with an adorable puppy named Bear.
At the end of her visit, she had a discussion with some teenage students about the pressures of social media.
"Do you feel that social media puts a lot of pressure on young people?" Kate asked. "From what we've been learning from the work we've been doing it can get so addictive."
The Duchess, Prince William and Prince Harry have been working together as part of their mental health charity Heads Together. Through this charity, the royals hope to change the conversation on mental health. For more on that, watch the video above.
