British underdog Daniel Dubois talked big ahead of his title shot at Ukraine’s IBF, WBA, and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in Wrocław, Poland on Aug. 26.
“We’ve got to have to take his legs away from him and break his body up," Dubois said.
"That’s what I’m all about. Respect, yeah. I trained hard for him; that’s the respect he’s getting,” he said, referring to Ukraine’s 2012 Olympic champion.
"I worked hard for him, I suffered in camp for him, and now let’s go in and have a good fight. Do it for the family. All good. Yeah, let them go, let them shout, let them scream. They can’t fight for him," Dubois said in a video posted on TNT Sports on Aug. 16.
Dubois’ sister, Caroline, believes it will be a “50-50 fight” with the first rounds proving to be decisive for the outcome, she said in an interview with No Smoker Sport.
