Dubai labourer's ear cut off in fight at work
Two workers are accused of slicing off part of a colleague’s ear in a Dubai brawl. The men appeared at Dubai Court of First Instance yesterday.
According to official records, the incident happened in January.
A 23-year-old Pakistani man was working at a construction site behind the Iranian Hospital with the defendants when one of themdropped some cement on the victim’s face. “I asked him to stop but he came towards me with the second suspect and restrained me and hit me in the face with a bar and cut my ear.”
A witness said he saw the men attack the victim and then he saw a piece of ear on ground.
The defendants deny the charge. The case has been adjourned.
