DU to close part of Vine Street on Tuesday and Wednesday

Jan. 23—Starting Tuesday morning, Decatur Utilities plans to close the portion of Vine Street Northeast between Bank and Canal streets for the next two days.

A DU crew is scheduled begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday installing water services to three Vine Street locations. The crew expects to finished at about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The affected portion of Vine Street will remain closed Tuesday night. Traffic will be the detoured to Cherry Street.
