What We’re Tracking

  • Showers & storms tonight

  • Drying for for late week

  • Getting hot this weekend

Early morning thunderstorms and showers for Thursday with areas of patchy fog. Temperatures for Thursday will once again climb into the middle 70’s. Calm northwest winds at around 5 mph for most of the day. Starting Thursday morning off with on and off precipitation and mostly cloudy but gradually becoming mostly sunny.

The good news is that we should clear out as the weekend approaches, possibly even earlier. After a few showers early Thursday, we should see some partial clearing with highs in the middle 70s for Thursday.

As the systems clear the region, we get mostly sunshine from Friday through at least Sunday with highs in the middle to upper 80s by the upcoming weekend with wind becoming more southerly and picking up a bit over the weekend, as well. This will gradually draw up higher humidity into the area and set the stage for some stronger storms early next week.
