Drug operation results in four arrests

May 4—Over a pound of methamphetamine was recently seized in an operation conducted by the Limestone County Sheriff's Office resulting in the arrest of four Elkmont residents. Randall Daly, Tammy Sizemore, Charles Phillips, and Carol Scott are all facing multiple charges.

The operation took place earlier in the week, according to the Limestone County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin, the Limestone County narcotics Unit, and LCSO K-9 "Hoss" took part in the narcotics operation in Elkmont.

"Over 520 grams (just over a pound) of methamphetamine, three firearms, and a numerous variation of pills were seized," Sheriff McLaughlin said.

Daly has been charged with drug trafficking, distribution of a controlled substance, certain persons forbidden- ex-felon in possession of a firearm, illegal possession of dangerous drugs, and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Limestone County Jail awaiting bond.

Sizemore and Phillips have been charged with illegal possession of dangerous drugs and both have been released on bond.

Scott is charged with illegal possession of drug paraphernalia and has been released on bond.
