Drone fragments hit residential building in St. Petersburg
Russian air defense systems shot down drones over St. Petersburg, with wreckage from one hitting a residential building, local Russian Telegram channels reported on March 2.
Photos and videos have been also reported. Additionally, reports indicate that explosions were heard in the city during the night.

Images from the scene reveal blown-out windows in the residential building. Fortunately, there have been no reported civilian casualties.
Russian media asserts that the drones were targeting the Ruchi oil depot in northeastern St. Petersburg, located less than a kilometer from the crash site.
