Authorities say the woman was traveling alone in a silver sedan southbound on northbound SR-125 when the vehicle crashed into a concrete bridge, lost control and slammed into a metal chain-link fence. The driver, who has not been identified at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP is investigating if driving under the influence was a factor in the collision.
