Driver dies after car hits garden wall
A driver has died after a car hit a garden wall, police said.
The man, believed to be in his 70s, was driving in Preston Road in Clayton-le-Woods at about 10:45 BST on Saturday, Lancashire Constabulary added.
He was taken to hospital where he later died.
Police said no other vehicle was involved and appealed for anyone with information and footage to contact them.
