Driver crashes into Lakewood business

DENVER (KDVR) — West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a driver who crashed into a Lakewood business Sunday night.

Just before 11:30 p.m., West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a crash in the 1400 block of South Sheridan Boulevard in the Lasley neighborhood in Lakewood.

Photos from crews show a car that crashed into the Famouz Fadez barber shop.

While technical rescue crews had to respond to the scene, the driver was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries.

However, firefighters said the building sustained significant damage. The car was removed from the building, and firefighters shored up the structure.

There has been no word on if the driver faces any charges in this crash.
