Drew Carey Reunited With High School Girlfriend on ‘This Week in Game Shows’
On The Price Is Right, one contestant excitedly hugged Drew Carey, which is fairly common, but what was uncommon is that she told Carey that he was her boyfriend in high school. This took Carey by surprise at first, but then he shook her hand and told her it was good to see her again. Carey then quoted that perfect get-back-together song by Peaches and Herb, “Reunited.”
“Reunited and it feels so good,” Carey joked.
On Jeopardy, Alex Trebek finally found a contestant he couldn’t bully. When getting to know the contestants, Trebek was told by a young woman from New York that she studies the German longsword. Not only does she study it, she competes in international competitions against both men and women. As Trebek moved on to the next contestant, he knew he’d met his match.
“Remind me to be nice to you,” Trebek said.
On Match Game, Jason Alexander channeled his inner Costanza with an obscure Seinfeld reference. Though it may not seem too obscure for true Seinfeld fans who remember how fun it is to say, “Salsa!”
