Drew Barrymore has one of Hollywood's best smiles, but when she was filming her new movie, "Blended," there were times when she had to hide it - or her face could have been ripped off!
Access Hollywood caught up with the actress at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, which also stars Adam Sandler, where she revealed how working with baboons on set almost got gory.
"The baboon handler said, 'Don't make eye contact with him whatever you do! Don't show him your teeth,'" the 39-year-old star told Access, recalling working with the wild primates in the romantic comedy.
Drew's baboon faceoff almost ended up with her face off!
"He crawled up and got up in my face," she said, explaining that she did everything in her power to not open her mouth in order to not provoke the animal.
"I thought, if I get my face ripped off by this baboon how am I going to go home and explain that to my husband and kid," she said.
Luckily, the baboon left Drew alone, but the encounter was still nerve-wracking for the actress.
"He just crawled up and got in my face. But trust me, after you have been told this baboon is a threat, then he's up in your grill - it's terrifying!" she added.
"Blended" opens May 23.
