Event organizer DreamHack has announced side tournaments for DreamHack Summer 2017, including junior, senior, and female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments. They will run alongside the main free-for-all CS:GO tournament.

All side tournaments require participants to bring their own computer. The senior tournament is restricted to players who are 30 years old or over (only in esports is a “senior” over 30), while the junior tournament is open to players 18 years old and under.

The prize winnings for the side tournaments are as follows:

  • 1st place – 10,000 SEK

  • 2nd place – 5,000 SEK

  • 3rd place – Product prizes

DreamHack Summer 2017 will run from June 17-20. It’ll be hosted at Elmia Fair in Jönköping, Sweden. The event is one of the largest BYOC LAN parties in the world, and holds the Guinness World Record for highest number of computers in a LAN. Those who are interested in participating can sign up on the DreamHack website.
