Draymond Green says his checkered history is why he got ejected after fight with Bradley Beal

They’re not playing fair, says the Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green. And by they, he means the NBA and its referees.

Green was ejected Friday night in the first half after getting into a tussle with the Washington Wizards’ Bradley Beal, who also got tossed in the dustup. It’s hard to tell if you can call it a full-fledged “fight” but Green’s jersey got the worst of it as it got ripped badly.

Here’s where the physicality in the direct incident started, which looked like a subtle slap upside the head to Green in a battle for position in the paint between the two players:

The pushing and shoving then spilled over under the basket as both teams rushed to stop it.

Green spoke with ESPN after his early dismissal, and the Warrior didn’t hold back.

What is Green’s history? Well, his detractors will be quick to point out his one-game NBA Finals suspension in 2015 for drawing too many flagrant fouls in the playoffs. The habitual line-stepping included an infamous kick to the groin of Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams.

There’s also the technical fouls. He drew 14 of them last season, trailing only John Wall, Russell Westbrook and DeMarcus Cousins.
