SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Draymond Green hit the showers early once again on Wednesday after he was ejected from the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Orlando Magic. The game was less than four minutes in when Green was tossed.

Green began to argue with official Ray Acosta after Andrew Wiggins was called for a foul while contesting a shot by Orlando’s Paolo Banchero. He was whistled for a technical foul and continued arguing for another 30 seconds, which earned him a second technical foul and automatic ejection.

Stephen Curry appeared to be visibly frustrated after the ejection, shaking his head and putting his jersey over his face.

It has been an eventful year for the loquacious forward, who has now been ejected from four games this season, the highest total of his career. He has fouled out of three others.

One of those ejections earned him a five-game suspension when he put Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a chokehold during a skirmish between the two teams.

Six games after he came back, he struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face and was tossed once again. He was suspended indefinitely and missed the next 16 games.

Green has 10 technical fouls this season. Sixteen technical fouls in the regular season would earn him a one-game suspension.

Wednesday’s game against Orlando is pivotal for the Warriors, who hold a one-game lead over the Houston Rockets for the Western Conference’s final postseason spot. Green’s ejection left the Warriors shorthanded at forward as Jonathan Kuminga also missed the game with a knee injury.

The Warriors will have 10 games remaining after Wednesday. They play the Rockets in Houston on April 4.
