Drake Bell Admits It Was Wrong To Call Out Josh Peck
Drake Bell recently opened up about the misunderstanding he had with his “Josh & Drake” co-star Josh Peck.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight on Saturday, the 31-year-old former child star acknowledged the fact that he should have asked Peck why he wasn’t invited to his wedding directly. Immediately after photos of Peck and his wife circulated online, Bell couldn’t help but say on Twitter that he’s cutting all ties with the actor. He recently said that they have patched things up.

“Yeah, I said the ties are cut or whatever, but I should have just texted that to him, you know. I was just being cranky. You know, it’s like sibling rivalry for a minute. But no, I mean we’ve gone through every up and down that you can think of that two guys can go through. I mean, we’ve done our 18 hour days on set and it’s, ‘What you doing afterwards?’ ‘Going to your house watching movies and playing video games,’ even though we’ve spent all day together,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bell also admitted that he was shocked with the response he got from his and Peck’s fans. According to the actor, it felt like a really slow day because everyone was focused on the tweet he posted. “I was really surprised and what I was more surprised at was how fans went after Josh. That bummed me out because I was reading the comments and thinking, ‘Wait a minute, you know, I can say it but you can’t!’” he said.
But if there was one person who stood by Peck’s side, it was his onscreen dad, John Stamos. Peck and Stamos played the roles of father and son in the debunked series, “Grandfathered.” After Bell posted the cryptic tweet against Peck, Stamos posted a series of photos on Instagram making light of the situation. The funnyman also joked about being invited to Peck’s wedding and attending it even though he didn’t really want to.
In other news, Bell is also very open to doing a remake of “Drake & Josh” with Peck. But as of late, the actor is focusing on his music career and his upcoming movies.
