Dr. Leanne Rorish Is In Serious Danger In ‘Code Black’ Season 2, Episode 15
“Code Black” Season 2, episode 15 will see Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) in serious danger.
In the two-part finale episode, titled “The Devil’s Workshop,” the ER at Angels Memorial Hospital is quarantined when a viral outbreak jeopardizes the lives of the doctors, patients and staff. In the promo released by CBS, Dr. Ethan Willis (Rob Lowe) tells everyone that the disease could kill people within just a short period of time. Some doctors will be exposed to the disease including Dr. Rorish. A blonde woman who is also exposed to the viral outbreak hugs her even though Dr. Will Campbell (Boris Kodjoe) already advised her not to do so.
Meanwhile, Harden spoke with TV Line to say that the final two episodes of “Code Black” Season 2 are filled with exciting and emotional scenes. “The last two episodes are amazing. It’s a two-parter where we are combatting a viral disease, and we have to go out into the city to figure out where it is coming from, and Leanne is compromised in many, many ways,” she said.
In other news, the fate of “Code Black” Season 3 still remains to be unknown. According to TV Line, the series has a 50/50 chance of getting renewed by CBS. Last year, “Code Black” Season 2 was renewed immediately after Season 1 wrapped up. However, there were massive changes in the TV series’ casting. Season 1 cast members Raza Jaffrey and Bonnie Somerville were axed from the show, and new actors were tapped to join the pool. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the changes in the casting were done so that “Code Black” Season 2 could reach a broader audience.
“Code Black” Season 2, episode 15 will air on CBS on Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. EST.
