Downtown Tampa’s big egg hunt: See scenes from Eggsploration
Easter weekend got hopping at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in Tampa on Saturday with Ashley’s Eggsploration, which bills itself as downtown’s largest egg hunt put on by the Tampa Downtown Partnership.
Thousands of eggs were set out, and there were even prizes for finding specific combinations of eggs. New this year were three golden eggs that were planted in the park and came with a grand prize — a $500 gift card for Ashley Furniture.
Egg hunts were divided between age groups ranging from 3 to 18. There were also food trucks on site, photos with the Easter Bunny, face painters, balloon artists and bounce houses.
