Downtown event road closures planned for May

CHILLICOTHE — Throughout the month of May Downtown Chillicothe will be hosting various events that will close the streets of downtown to vehicles. Here is a look at when those closures will take place:

  • May 3: 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.- North Paint Street between Main Street and 2nd Street for Yellow Day

  • May 11: 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.- Parking lot at the corner of 4th Street and South Paint- Rummage Sale

  • May 11 and May 12: All Day- Corner of Paint Street and West Water Street to Yoctangee for the Gus Macker.

  • May 23 to May 27: All-day- Yoctangee Parkway and portions of North Piant and East Water for Feast of the Flowering Moon

  • May 25: 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.- Yoctangeen Parkway, Water Street between Walnut and Mulberry, Mulberry between Water and 2nd Street, 2nd Street between Mulberry and Paint Street- Feast of the Flowering Moon Parade.
