Downeaster train service suspended

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — The public transit shutdown in Boston includes Amtrak's Downeaster train service.

Authorities say the travel freeze was ordered as part of the manhunt for a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing investigation.

Officials say train 680 will be held at the station in Exeter, N.H. Train 681 is running a normal schedule from Exeter north to Brunswick, Maine.

Officials say train 682 will run according to schedule as far south as allowed, which as of right now is Exeter

There is no train service to stops in Massachusetts: Haverhill, Woburn or Boston.
