Dow once again tops 22K following jobs report

The Dow reclaims 22,000 as stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) rise following the latest jobs report. Plus – tax reform – will it happen or not in 2017? And does the market care? We break it down. Winners and losers

Stocks in the red today include Ambarella as the chipmaker’s guidance missed the mark, Progenics Pharmaceuticals as testing for one of its cancer drugs will be delayed, and Barnes & Noble – shares shaving off some of yesterday’s gains after the bookseller denied a report claiming it was exploring taking itself private.

Stocks jumping today include GM as August sales climbed a whopping 7.5%, Lululemon stretching upward as the yoga-wear maker beat on earnings and raised its full-year forecast, and Palo Alto Networks – shares on the move higher as the cybersecurity firm beat on earnings and added a record amount of new customers.
