Dover closing River Street to vehicular, pedestrian traffic for spring and summer

DOVER — River Street will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic 24 hours a day starting Monday, April 8, the city announced.

The closure also includes a section of sidewalk at the northeastern edge of Henry Law Park and a section of Washington Street from the Makem Bridge. The closure is anticipated to continue through at least Labor Day in September.

The closure will allow the contractor to install a new water main, stormwater drainage, and electrical duct bank related to the waterfront project and complete other roadway work.
