Dothan man accused of vandalizing Florida Capital with “Save Gaza” message

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A Dothan man is facing charges in Florida after investigators claimed he defaced traffic posts on the grounds of the state capital.

Kiley Vance Justice, 23, of Dothan, and 20-year-old Greta Lane Paul, of Tallahassee, were arrested in Florida and charged with one count each of misdemeanor criminal mischief.

According to Florida Capital Police, Justice and Paul wrote “Save Gaza” in red paint across traffic barrier posts while at a rally with other demonstrators on Saturday, March 2, in front of the Florida Capital building.

The posts were on the capital grounds, facing the intersection of Monroe Street and Apalachee Parkway.

Police say an investigation by FDLE Capital Police identified Justice and Paul as the suspects, and Justive turned himself into the Jackson County Jail in Marianna, Florida, on Friday, March 22.

Paul was arrested by sheriff’s deputies in Leon County, Florida.
