Donte DiVincenzo was so hot in the national championship that he was winking at courtside spectators
Donte DiVincenzo was feeling himself Monday night. The best evidence were his 31 points, which led Villanova to a 79-62 win over Michigan, and to a second national title in three years.
But equally good evidence was DiVincenzo’s reaction after draining his fifth 3-pointer of the night. It brought his individual point total up to 27. It put Villanova up 62-44, and all but sealed the game.

DiVincenzo, a sophomore guard who was a three-star recruit out of high school, was named Most Outstanding Player.
Michael Jordan had the shrug. “The Michael Jordan of Delaware” now has the wink.
