Donate an item, fund a home: Champaign Habitat for Humanity Restore looking for donations

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A Champaign thrift store is looking for donations to help restock their inventory.

Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is asking for new or gently used furniture or home goods, which they are willing to pick up from people’s homes for free. They ask that a minimum donation include three or more furniture items such as appliances, side tables, sofas, chairs and simple desks (not executive or L-shaped) that can be used at home.

Sales from the ReStore go toward the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County in building and providing houses for low-income families in need of an affordable home.
