Donate blood and adopt a pet at this Fresno blood drive

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Those who want to donate blood and would also adopt a furry friend are welcome to attend Fresno’s Animal Center’s first community blood drive.

City officials say “Doggos de Mayo”, is the first-ever community blood drive at the Fresno Animal Center, and will be hosted on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature fee-waived adoptions, food, and a raffle for donors and adopters.

Fresno’s dogs are being taken to Oregon to help with overpopulation

According to organizers, walk-in appointments are welcome.

The Fresno Animal Center is located at 5277 E Airways Blvd, in Fresno.
