Donald Trump won't visit the UK until Theresa May fixes a 'better reception' for him

He's not coming to the UK until she can "fix" a warmer reception.
That was US president Donald Trump's instruction to Theresa May over the phone, according to the Sun on Sunday.
The newspaper quoted the transcript of a phone call between the two leaders seen by diplomatic sources.
Trump apparently said: "I haven’t had great coverage out there lately, Theresa."
He went on: "I still want to come, but I’m in no rush. So, if you can fix it for me, it would make things a lot easier.
"When I know I’m going to get a better reception, I’ll come and not before."
May responded by blaming the UK press for hostile coverage. "You know what the press are like," she apparently said.
The newspaper didn't say when the conversation took place.
Donald Trump has just concluded a trip to Europe, which involved spending time with the new French president, Emmanuel Macron, in Paris.
But he's so far shunned the UK, postponing his original visit after massive protests in March. House of Commons speaker John Bercow also banned Trump from speaking in Parliament.
Downing Street officials suggested Trump will visit next year.
