The Republican Party presidential candidate’s campaign has released a new video in which Trump is making an appeal to the Hindu and Indian community to vote for him.

Equally surprising is Trump saying "Ab ki baar, Trump sarkar," (Hindi for: This time, Trump’s government). It’s a rendition of Modi’s previous campaign slogan, in which he said "Ab ki baar, Modi sarkar." (This time, Modi’s government).

The video begins with Trump’s campaign wishing people on the occasion of Diwali, one of the biggest festivals in India, which takes place over the coming weekend this year. The video also uses some moments from his recent appearance on "Humanity Against Terror" charity concert in New Jersey, where he talked about India and his love for Hindus.

Trump said India is a "great friend" of the United States, and that he has many good friends in India. “If I am elected President, the Indian and Hindu community will have a true friend in the White House, that I can guarantee you,” he said. Trump also praised Narendra Modi.

There are about two million Hindus in America. Trump's new video adds, "We love the Hindus. We love India."
