Donald Trump has been in charge for almost 100 whirlwind days.
What with his slamming so-called “fake news”, constant tweeting, holding Theresa May’s hand in the White House, travel bans, allegations of Russia interference, accusing his predecessor of spying on him, the Mexican wall and an ongoing feud with Arnold Schwarzenegger, it has been a presidency like no other.
And it has not only been a voyage of discovery for us, but also for him, if the Oval Office interview he has just given to mark his century of days in power is anything to go by.

Being U.S. President is harder than he thought
In the interview with Reuters, Donald Trump admitted the difficulty of the most powerful job in the world has surprised him. ‘I loved my previous life,’ he said. ‘I had so many things going. This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.’
He has some admiration for Kim Jong-un
Trump’s rhetoric against North Korea and it’s leader has been strong, and overwhelmingly negative, but he had this to say about the country’s leader: ‘He’s 27 years old. His father dies, took over a regime. So say what you want but that is not easy, especially at that age. I’m not giving him credit or not giving him credit, I’m just saying that’s a very hard thing to do.’
He thinks ‘major, major’ conflict with North Korea is possible
Speaking from his Oval Office, the President showed his willingness to take up arms against North Korea. He said: ‘There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea. Absolutely.’
He misses driving
Because of the heightened security around him, Trump says he can no longer get behind the wheel. ‘I like to drive,’ he said. ‘I can’t drive any more.’
And he misses his former privacy
‘You’re really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can’t go anywhere,’ complained the President.
He wants to ‘humiliate ISIS
Asked about the war against the Islamic State, the US president replied: ‘I have to say the end of ISIS is near, and it has to be humiliating.
He’s a fan of China’s President Xi Jinping
Donald Trump spoke highly of his Chinese counterpart, with whom he has liaised closely in regards to the escalating situation in North Korea, calling him ‘a very good man’.
