You probably save important milestone gift cards from baby showers, kid's birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduations, anniversary, and weddings. But saving holiday cards year after year can veer into -- dare we say it -- hoarder territory? Many of them are just generic greetings from folks you aren't especially close to. (The "Thank you for getting your teeth cleaned at Dr. So and So! Happy Holidays!” cards. Go ahead and toss those.)
But what happens to those truly gorgeous and glittery ones on the mantle? We confess to having a bit of tossing remorse in these cases. What's a non-hoarder to do? Think of those cards as potential DIY project materials and you'll find a real use for them in no time.
We’ve rounded up a bevvy of exciting ways to upcycle your holiday cards. Think of it as repurposing…with a bit of holiday cheer!
