Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is coming to San Angelo with a launch party from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stephen's Central Library.
United Way of the Concho Valley is bringing Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to the children's department at 33 W. Beauregard Avenue, according to a Facebook post from the Tom Green County Library System.
"Our children's department was chosen to host the official launch party for Dolly's Parton's Imagination Library registration day," the post stated. "This is your chance to register for free books from this amazing program."
There will be a ribbon cutting, registration details, a read along, crafts, snacks and more, thanks to the United Way of the Concho Valley volunteers.
"Bring the whole family as we celebrate this amazing opportunity," the post stated.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is the flagship program of The Dollywood Foundation.
"It reaches more children than any other early childhood book gifting program, and mails free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until age five, no matter their family’s income," according to the post.
