Dog found abandoned in Cumberland County, police looking for owner

LOWER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – Police in Cumberland County are looking for the owner of a dog found abandoned along the side of the road.

Lower Allen Township Police responded to the 200 block of Creek Road at 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning for the abandoned dog.

A 911 caller reported seeing a blanket along the road and upon closer inspection they saw it was moving.

Police found the small white Maltese Poodle with no tags or microchips.

Anyone who recognizes the dog or knows the owner is asked to contact Lower Allen Township Police.
