What does the Internet think of the Duke-UNC game jerseys? You can probably guess
Duke and UNC fans finally agree on something: the throwback jerseys for the 100th rivalry game are ugly.
“It seriously looks like #Duke and #UNC are scrimmaging in their practice uniforms,” tweeted one fan. “Unbelievable that somebody approved these things. My goodness.”

Other comparisons include “4th grade rec teams jerseys,” “JV uniforms” and “Walmart brand.”
The jerseys were designed by Nike as a reference to those worn in the teams’ first rivalry game in 1920. The front of the uniforms feature the schools’ respective logos and shades of blue.

“The front of the jerseys are characterized by the program logo and are absent of numbers, mirroring the teams’ 1920 look,” according to Nike’s website.
Not all fans hate the design, however, with one fan noting they look better in person.
“IMPORTANT: These jerseys look much better in person. #UNC #DUKE,” tweeted one viewer.
