DNA experts to testify in Kansas killings case
OTTAWA, Kan. (AP) — DNA experts are expected to testify at a hearing for a Kansas man accused of killing four people, including an 18-month-old girl, at a rural property in eastern Kansas.
The two-day preliminary hearing to determine if there's enough evidence to try Kyle Flack on charges including capital murder was scheduled to resume Wednesday morning.
Investigators testified Tuesday that the decomposing bodies of Andrew Stout, Steven White and Kaylie Bailey were discovered last spring at Stout's Ottawa farm. The body of Bailey's daughter, Lana-Leigh was found several days later.
Authorities testified that crews searching a creek found a suitcase that contained a child's body, but they didn't identify the body as Lana-Leigh.
