No. 5 Sidwell Friends vs. No. 2 Gonzaga (DCSAA AA Boys Semifinal)
The defending champs Sidwell win a tight one over Gonzaga 53-52 to advance to the final for the third straight year.
No. 6 St. John’s vs. No. 3 Jackson-Reed (DCSAA AA Boys Semifinal)
St. John’s takes down Jackson-Reed 55-52 to advance to their first DCSAA final since 2018.
No. 17 Maret vs. No. 3 St. John’s (DCSAA AA Girls Semifinal)
St. John’s is heading back to the final, dominating Maret 48-24.
No. 8 Archbishop Carroll vs. No. 1 Sidwell Friends (DCSAA AA Girls Semifinal)
Sidwell survives a late surge by Archbishop Carroll, defeating the Lions 44-40.
Thomas Dale vs. No. 14 Osbourn Park (VHSL Class 6 Girls State Semifinal)
Osbourn Park falls short of a state final appearance, losing to Thomas Dale 58-55.
No. 23 Hayfield vs. No. 21 South Lakes (VHSL Class 6 Boys State Semifinal)
After falling to the Hawks in the state semis the last two years, South Lakes finally gets over the hump, defeating Hayfield 52-41.
Oscar Smith vs. No. 17 Patriot (VHSL Class 6 Boys State Semifinal)
Patriot trailed by eight after the first quarter before outscoring Oscar Smith 20-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 55-44 win, advancing to their second straight state final appearance.
Tuscarora (Va.) vs. Loudoun Valley (VHSL Class 4 Boys State Semifinal)
After falling to the Viking in the 4C region final a week ago, Tuscarora bounces back in a big way, defeating Loudoun Valley 65-40 to advance to the state title game.
Tuscarora (Va.) vs. No. 10 Woodgrove (VHSL Class 4 Girls State Semifinal)
Woodgrove dominates once again, defeating Tuscarora 49-29, advancing to the Class 4 state final.
Churchill at No. 16 Bethesda-Chevy Chase (MPSSAA 4A Girls Region Semifinal)
BCC gets the win over Churchill 44-35 to advance to the region final.
Walter Johnson at Whitman (MPSSAA 4A Girls Region Semifinal)
Whitman gets the 61-50 win over WJ at home, advancing to the region final to take on BCC.
Paint Branch at Einstein (MPSSAA 4A Girls Region Semifinal)
Paint Branch wins a tight one over Einstein 47-44.
