Man dies after being pulled from water at O.J. Watson Park

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita Police Department says a 23-year-old man died after he was pulled from the water at O.J. Watson Park Sunday afternoon. It happened around 12:57 p.m., according to Sedgwick County dispatch.

Motorcyclist seriously injured in south Wichita crash

The WPD, Sedgwick County EMS, and the Wichita Fire Department responded to the scene. The WFD took over and sent divers in to find the man. He was pulled from the water about an hour later and transported to the hospital, police said. He was pronounced dead at 2:33 p.m.

Police said the man’s identity hasn’t been released.
