‘Distressing discovery’ after urn found floating in pond: Sheriff
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (WJW) – An autopsy is underway following the discovery of an urn floating in a pond.
According to the sheriff’s office in Montgomery County, Texas, a park ranger in Woodlands Township found the urn, and then made a “distressing discovery.”

“What appeared to be a human fetus was discovered inside,” a press release from the sheriff’s office stated.
The sheriff’s office said the fetus was in the early stages of development.
“We understand the gravity of this situation and the impact it may have on our community,” the office said in a statement.
Investigators said there is no threat to the public.
There is no word on the timeline for autopsy results.
