Dispatch: No serious injuries in crash involving bus near Hastings

HASTINGS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — No serious injuries were reported after a school bus and large delivery truck collided north of Hastings Friday afternoon, dispatchers say.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of M-43 and Coats Grove Road in Hastings Township.

Dispatchers said students who were on the bus were being checked out, but there were no immediate indications of serious injuries.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known, nor could dispatch provide information about which school district owns the bus.
