A Discovery of Witches star joins cast of Rings of Power season 2

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has announced three new cast members are joining the fantasy epic for season 2.
Tanya Moodie, Ciarán Hinds and Rory Kinnear are all set to play recurring roles, which are currently being kept secret and safe.
The trio join a pretty sizeable list of actors joining the show for its second outing.

Production on the second season is currently underway, having moved to the United Kingdom after filming season 1 in New Zealand, where the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings trilogies were also shot.
As well as season 2 of Rings of Power, there's the upcoming anime film War of the Rohirrim on its way, and multiple films that were just announced through a deal between Middle-earth Enterprises and Warner Bros, which Jackson might be involved with.
Another person who might hop on board is Andy Serkis, who recently said that he would be up for it.

"Look, [producers] Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens are sort of a second family that I have become part of and have gone on to make so many films with," he said.
"And – let me tell you – they are the best and most incredible people to work with. I think that there are so many other potential Middle-earth projects which could come about, and if they’re doing them, I would, of course, jump at the chance to have that relationship rekindled… Middle-earth has never left me."
